New to V2 is the 'monitor EQ Compensation mode' which allows your to tailor your monitor EQ to make up for dull or overly bassy mix translation on other speaker systems.

The concept for the EQ compensation mode in the Speakulator V2 plugin is the result of years of hands on engineering experience and an understanding of the difficulties the mixing stage of music production can bring when you need to mix for many speaker systems.

With this new mode, which basically acts like a much more powerful 'Tilt' mode which you can find on most studio quality monitors available today, you can alter both the low and high spectrum of your monitor speakers which effectively changes the way you listen when mixing.

It's one thing to say, "oh yes, next time I need to mix brighter..." or "next time I need to make the bottom end less dominant..." and another thing to actually carry it through to the final mix if you keep hearing that your mix is lacking in some area.

When your speakers are lacking in a certain frequency area, you naturally compensate for it by adding more bass (if your speakers are weak in the low frequency area for example) or creating dull sounding mixes simply because your speakers are too bright and you are reducing these frequencies in the mix where you should really be boosting them!
